Johann Weyers - Old Mutual AF Division:
Johann Weyers partnered with the Academy in 2020 and has been supporting the Academy in various areas since. One of the major areas he has been involved with is the coaches clothing sponsorship. He will furthermore be supporting the Academy in different areas in 2024, this includes WJ Sport, WJ Sport Harties and the Academy in Potchefstroom.

Yellow Seed:
The Academy partnered with Yellow Seed in 2022. Yellow Seed is involved with the Academy on an advisory capacity to management team and also assists with team development. They also play a vital role in the Learn To Serve Gap Year Program that started in 2023!

Vos Physio:
Vos Physiotherapy is a private practice committed to the well-being and recovery of its clients. We provide a range of health, rehabilitative and exercise services to assist our clients with their recovery after injury or pain. Services will include biomechanical assessments, pain management, rehabilitation and sport-specific training. Mar-lezé is an alumni player of the Academy. She trained with WJTA during her High School career from 2011-2013. She has always had a passion for tennis, and we look forward to partnering yet again with an alumni player who loves tennis and sports in general.
Mar-lezé graduated from the University of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She has spent the past 2 years working in Auckland, New Zealand where she gained experience working in an outpatient practice treating various sports injuries, back and neck injuries and focusing on the rehabilitation thereof.
Her participation at national level athletics, tennis and provincial hockey tournaments schooled and directed her towards her profession and passion for human movement and rehabilitation.
Mar-lezé has previously been the team physiotherapist for New Zealand provincial hockey teams as well as South African provincial athletic teams. Mar-lezé is energetic and driven, and her goal is to guide and assist clients with their journey to living and managing a healthier lifestyle. HEAD:
WJ Sport Vaal and WJ Sport Harties signed a sponsorship with HEAD in 2023. We feel so privileged to be working with this incredible brand, that has such a rich history in tennis!
They make sure that all the coaches look and feel the part with sponsoring us with amazing rackets, bags, shoes, accessories etc. We are excited about the last year and can’t wait to see what the new year will have in store!

Baseline Racquets:
WJ Sport Vaal and WJ Sport Harties have a partnership with Baseline Racquets. It is truly a privilege to be working with such an incredible retail store that can offer services across the country!
We offer a racquet re-stringing service provided by a team of stringers who are well-trained, experience and accredited by ERSA [European Racquet Stringing Association]. Other stringing services include racquet weighting and balancing, precision tuning and tension testing.
Allison Espach Dietitian:
Allison is an alumni player of the Academy. She trained with WJTA during her High School career. She has always had a passion for tennis, and we look forward to partnering yet again with an alumni player who loves tennis and other sports in general.
Allison Espach Dietitian is a private practice in Vanderbijlpark. She opened her doors in January 2018. Allison is extremely passionate about health and nutrition.
“Throughout my 4 years of study at the North West University in Potchefstroom where I finished my Honors degree in 2017, I've always set my focus on one thing in particular; the overall health of each and every one of my clients and also of course how to make these dietary changes a lifestyle. I am very passionate about sports nutrition, but I do treat and health patients with any other nutritional related problems/disease.”
Her main focus is always set on helping clients live a healthier life and educating them on making better food choices. Allison also expanded her expertise throughout the years and did a lot of research regarding the calculation of diets/meal plans for patients according to their genetics via DNA Analysis.
A main focus is also to give advice regards supplementation including sports supplementation and exercise advice.
